Inspired by the Vox AC-30/TB "Treble and Bass Boost" of 1964 vintage, the VS Audio Jangle Master overdrive pedal responds just like an amplifier, with a range that spans sparkling cleans all the way up to rich and complex saturation. At the heart of the JangleMaster lies hand-selected components, including a mega-reliable, military-grade TRIAD Magnetics "Red Spec" (MIL-T-27E) audio transformer, which is exactly where all of that unmistakable AC-30-flavoured sound comes from.

The VS Audio JangleMaster: x2 Boost Channels

VS Audio has equipped the JangleMaster with a mini-switch, so you can flip the output between a Rangemaster-style treble boost or a more standard, more vanilla volume-boost as required. The Master section features a Cut control pot, so you can set the dynamic response and tweak the high frequencies, setting up the pedal to match your speaker cabinet or prepping it for connection to an audio interface, while the Top Boost section hands you a set of powerful Bass and Treble pots for tightening up the low frequencies or dialling in a singing mid-range.
